Laser Toning Program

What is Laser Toning ?

Laser Toning is a technology used to treat individuals with dark spots, such as freckles, melasma, and acne scars, and uneven skin tone. Laser Toning helps to fade dark spots while simultaneously repairing and stimulating collagen production. This results in even, smooth, and brighter skin.

How Does Laser Toning Work?

Laser Toning destroys abnormal pigmentation and stimulates collagen production in the skin. It reduces melanin production and strengthens existing collagen. The laser used is Medlite Q-Switch Nd:YAG)

Steps in Laser Toning Treatment:

  1. Consult with a doctor to assess skin condition and determine the appropriate energy level for treatment.
  2. Cleanse the skin to prepare for treatment.
  3. Apply the laser (Medlite Q-Switch Nd:YAG) to the skin at the energy level determined by the doctor.

Benefits of Laser Toning Treatment:

  • Revitalizes collagen and exfoliates the upper skin layer.
  • Reduces pigmentation and dark spots.
  • Brightens the skin and evens out skin tone.
  • Softens the skin.
  • Minimizes pores.
  • Reduces fine lines.

Advantages of Laser Toning Over Other Exfoliation Methods

  • No chemical irritation from acids.
  • Does not feel like sandpaper scraping the skin, unlike Microdermabrasion (skin abrasion).
  • Allows immediate return to daily activities post-treatment.
  • No scabbing, pain, bleeding, or need for anesthesia.
  • Long-lasting results.
  • Suitable for fair and medium skin tones (energy level determined by the doctor).

Sensation During Laser Toning Treatment

During the laser treatment, you will feel warmth on your skin. After the treatment, some patients may experience slight pinkness for about 15-45 minutes, but there will be no burning sensation.

Frequency of Laser Toning Treatments for Visible Results

You will notice brighter skin, tighter pores, and reduced dark spots after just one treatment. However, for optimal results, it is recommended to continue treatment every 3 weeks for at least 3 sessions (as advised by your doctor).
